Rutland Round

A 65 mile walk round England’s smallest county

The route is divided into ten, approximately 6 miles or 10Km sections, with suggested parking locations where appropriate. Walkers and runners alike will find a route to suit, whether it’s just a short section or something more challenging.

The walk is primarily over farmland tracks and paths, with a few on-road sections, taking you through a varied and beautiful countryside; visiting quaint villages and bustling market towns. There is much to admire, landmark buildings, wide open countryside and Rutland Water, one of England’s largest reservoirs. How quickly you complete Rutland Round is up to you. Enjoy!
